Marketing Without Greenwashing
Introducing new products to market is always exciting. When they are a replacement for traditional plastic products, additional care needs to be taken to ensure that the marketing of all sustainability claims meet regulatory standards and can be backed up with scientific and testing evidence.
A marketing strategy and plan was developed for the dissolvable bag product range and designed to create impact and increase sales, whilst being manageable for the small marketing team.
Product messaging was strengthened, then checked against ACCC’s Making Environmental Claims Guide, to avoid any greenwashing. The products have been showcased on the client’s website and social media channels as well as through eDMs and trade shows.
